Tokyo Game Show 08 is officially over and it's time to move on to the regular stuff. One thing that has surprised me lately is the fact that companies are releasing launch trailers earlier and earlier. James Bond: Quantum of Solace is one month away from being released, but here's that trailer anyway.

Yes, looks like a good 007 game. Seems to be fun, and graphics are nice, (COD4 engine is back).

I thought this trailer was titled Multiplayer trailer (or something similar)? On the Xbox Marketplace anyway, they even had a small countdown ad (in days) in the dashboard, which made you believe that they were actually gonna unleash some (fleshed out) details about, you know, the multiplayer, hence the name.
Whatever though, day 1 just because of the Bond license. I really can't fight it.

^It's James Bond, so what else COULD it be? lol... a one person RTS? An RPG? A racing game? Dance Dance Revolution with the Bond girls? A platformer where you pick up floating stars and hop on the bad guys' heads?
Bond's trademark is his gun... bang bang. Shooter it is.

Haha, it can only be a first person shooter lol. Looks good from what ive seen of it, wasn't expecting it, but in all fairness, the COD4 engine is awesome, love it so ill defo be picking this up.

Still says nothing, there has been no decent bond game since GE. It's why they stripped EA from the licence.

Well, I have the impression that none of you have played the short demo on PC. It doesn't look near as good as COD4. The gameplay is also not as it should be. I was really looking forward to this game, but now I have played the demo, I'm going to wait what the reviews will point out.

I think you people look at it the wrong way. This title is a movie tie-in, it's for people who pretty much buy only titles of the sort, maybe some sports games as well, not for dedicated gamers like us. As long as it allows to re-live moments from the movie without being frustrating and it looks somewhat decent, I think it'll serve its purpose. But we shouldn't be bothered at all, there are shooters or adventure/shooters out there that are just meant to be great games and deliver on that promise and these we should be interested in.

Looks brilliant. I don't know why, but I've got a good vibe about this game much like I had a good feeling about GE before it came out, although this one will get nowhere near the quality of surprise that that game turned out to be. It'll still be excellent, though. A sleeper hit much like the fabled N64 masterpiece possibly.
