Namco-Bandai releases the first trailer of Smash Court Tennis 3, a few days after Top Spin 3 has gone out. We'll wait a higher resolution file before commenting on the graphics.

The character likeness is pretty well done. Much better than the characters in Top Spin 3 anyway. Everything else though, goes to Top Spin 3 hands down.
That game is really something else...so satisfying and the controls and feel are spot on. Really feels more like a tennis simulation.
This game however, looks to follow the arcade tradition. Not a bad thing perse, just not my cup of tea. Top spin 3 all the way for me!

That actually doesn't look that bad really, it certainly looks more like Virtua Tennis 3 than Top Spin 3. If it plays like a half-way house then it could be worth picking up for those that find Top Spin 3 too hard. With only a dozen courts though, as opposed to the 40+ of Top Spin 3, it doesn't look like it has the variety nor does it look as if you play anyone else other than the licensed pros. All that is trivial compared with how it plays though... the last game on the PS2 was only just above mediocre...

Isn't this game only for PSP ( already released ) and in production for (only) X360?
