Artworks of James Bond

Artworks of James Bond

Earlier this week, Activision launched the official website for the James Bond : Quantum of Solace videogame, based on the movie that will hit theaters in November. Not many details are known as of now, except that the main character will be Daniel Craig and that the story will also cover a bit of Casino Royale. Here is an artworks compilation (thanks Tiscali) as seen with the Flash animation on the website, which reveal some of the levels; Miami, Bolivia, London, Lake Como, Venice, Austrich, Siena and Montenegro.

But it WILL use CoD4's engine.
u sure? i read somewhere that they're using the call of duty 5 engine. unless that call of duty 5 engine is the same as call of duty 4.

Why people could consider Goldeneye superior to Perfect Dark could come from a few things.

1. Movie License. Perfect Dark wasn't based on a movie therefore didn't have familiar characters or a familiar story that everyone knew.

2. Simplistic level design. Perfect Dark was more complex, but some people didn't like that.

3. It came first. Sometimes the game that does things first gets more recognition than the game(s) that come after it, even if the game that comes after might do things a bit better. For example, I personally think the same developers did their best work with Timesplitters 2, slightly outdoing what Perfect Dark did.

Yeah in a nutshell, that's pretty much it. At least somebody understands the concept of people's judgements...

1. Doesn't matter

2. This is true. But not only were the levels complex, but they took what was simple and a blast to play (Goldeneye) and overcomplicated it in pretty much all aspects.

3. It came first is also partially right. Halo 1 was great because it was something new... then Halo 2 and 3 just weren't as fun imo because it wasn't anymore

It appears I have triggered a bit of confusion.

I wasn't saying Goldeneye 007 was the best game ever ... I was saying that it is never likely to be replaced by any other as the best James Bond game.

Owned both games and, for what it's worth, I probably rate them about equally. Both games were brilliant, and I had a superb time on both of them. Those were the good ol' days when you could actually assign BOTS to teams. I probably preferred Goldeneye's single player campaign, but preferred Perfect Dark's multiplayer. It's close between the two though, and it's been so long since i've played both that I can't say which one I preferred.

... N64 rules!
