Ten months after its official release, Codemasters' mythologic action game Rise of the Argonauts strikes back with a vengence and a big bunch of images. Visually, the game has gone through a dramatic upgrade and now looks stunning, both technically and in terms of design. We can't wait to see more about it. The game is planned to be released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 at the end of the year.

how exactly is this game looking "stunning"? textures are bland and undetailed....there is hardly any serious normal mapping and bump mapping...lightning is so so....anatomies are almost old gen

This looks cool, I think half the textures are still placeholders, so not too worried. I love the story (and the Harryhausen film), so this'll be a purchase!

Yeah, been waiting so long for news to this game.
looks good, but not as good as the first images they showed up (who wonders ^^)
Really looking forward to this, 'caus the whole saga around Jason is just too cool.
Hope there will be the more than famous skelett-scene from the classic film. ;o)

It sounds strange just saying it, but this game looks better in stills than it does in motion. Hopefully they'll be beefing up the animations from what was in the trailer.
