Trailer of Bully: Scholarship Edition

Trailer of Bully: Scholarship Edition

The next-generation - 360 and Wii - port of Rockstar's scholar GTA-like, Bully: Scholarship Edition, gets a new trailer. The graphics are obviously dated but the good art helps to provide a very unique and interesting look, and the game has enough qualities to make us forget about the fact that it's just a PS2 game in HD.

This game was so cool. really liked it. Had a lot of fun. It was quite a bit short, but there are plenty of missions you can do apart from the story. Can only recommand to everybody who didn't play it yet, and who would like to have a GTA with a lot of fun.

The game was REALLY overhyped especially by the 1up dood who gave it a 10! The missions are SO incredibly lame and repetitive that the game soon becomes a chore. Especially after the initial funny value is dimished.

Overhyped game

Well, I liked it more than San Andreas, which one was really a lot more overhyped IMO. But I think it's a thing of taste. Very special story and stile.

Every Rockstar game is either overrated and/or garbage. But hey, controversy can sell almost anything. If there's one thing the company knows how to do, it's sell products.

I dunno, the later missions that are outside the school are lame since you cant ride any fast vehicles, it takes forever to complete those missions and they become boring eventually.

The game was broken IMO, but whatever enjoy yourself

Actually you can quite easily get the motorised scooter which is pretty quick, or of course unlock the motorised go-kart to really race around.

My wife and I loved this on the PS2, had great fun playing it through, will get the 360 version, any word yet on what "additions" the new version will have besides the original content? Hopefully it's fairly significant......

Well, I can repeat if you want: I didn't like San Andreas that much. Got boring very fast, and I didn't like the whole story and athmosphere. IMO it was quite overrated. Instead I prefered Bully 'caus it was soething new, with a lot of fun and nice ideas. Well yeah Doom Bringer, at the end the missions got a bit boring... but hey, it's Rockstar ^^

Not even going to justify that with an insult....

I played the PS2 version a bit and really enjoyed it. Would buy this if it wasn't so close to GTAIV release.

awesome game, doom_bringer, as per usual wouldnt know a decent game if it drop kicked him in the face.
you guys do realize that different people have different tastes right? just because you dont like it doesnt make it bad, just because you like i doesnt make it good. If you dont like the game great, go ahead and say how you feel but if sum idiot wants to talk about how your an idiot don't fall for his crap, really your just feeding the fire and are no better your self

but this game looks good gameplay wise, and maybe the grfx were just a style decision? haha i doubt it but w/e, graphics arent everything

That's absolutely right. And in all honesty, if you're going to go off what reviewers and columnists say about a particular game without trying it for yourself, you must realize they don't know shit from honey and - you're a dumbass.

I think Bully was probably Rockstars 2nd best game ever developed (1st being The Warriors), it had a solid story, solid gameplay, and extremely good sound design which is mostly looked over now in days.

If you haven't played it, I suggest trying it (especially if you're over 26 years old - simply for nostalgic reasons). Otherwise, if you've played it before - like myself, I'm not sure I expect to much in the way of added content to woo me over. Might try renting it.
