I don't know why they want people to think it was done by a japanese studio. ubisoft Montreal is a really great developer and I don't see why they wouldn't want people associating a uniquely japanese franchie as developed by them. I have to say if Techmo developed it it wouldn't look nearly as solid.

I am not a fan of Naruto, and know very little about it except for it being Anime. But I am interested in this game, seems like fun!

just a logical suggestion here, you can take it or leave it:

for future versions of the (english) gamersyde diaries, i recommend having an english voice dub-over instead of the text. with such a visual heavy presentation, viewers don't want to have to read. when you're reading, you're missing what's happening on screen, which makes for an uncomfortable experience.

I didn't know there was going to be MP, let alone online MP

I wasn't going to get it personally at all really, because I have no desire to play as Naruto in some adventure game

I have watched/read the series for years now, and IMO Naruto is the worst character in the show even though hes the main.
It's going to be a pain to not have this with the amazing Japanese voices

But this is definately a system seller, it could be a huge system seller in Japan if it comes out well but no Japanese release as was discussed

No doubt this game has potential,,will be biggest system seller Like Lost Planet & Dead Rising, has everything what u need from naruto game, solid gameplay , Very solid but awesome 1 on 1 fighting, free roaming and Rpg elements.

Also one of my fave its Neichi Hyuga byakkugan chakra points minigame plus furry of blurry goodness!!!

For the newbs asking whats 3 ninjutsus?

Genjutsu=(Illusion Techniques) are techniques that use the chakra in the victim's nervous system to create illusions. {you had seen Neichi Byakkugan its based on that jutsu}.

Taijutsu= ("Body Techniques" or "hand-to-hand combat") refers to any techniques involving the martial arts or the optimization of natural human abilities in general.
Take credit to Rock Lee N' Guy Lee<-(Rock Lee's Sensei).

Ninjutsu= ("Ninja Techniques") is a vague term referring to almost any technique that uses chakra and allows the user to do something that they otherwise would be incapable of doing. Also including sealing jutsus and forbidden jutsus only for Kages.


So ubisoft are hard at work for each character gonna have their own ninjutsu's so all of them will not be the same ( so I encourage you watch Naruto series or dvd! )

The game looks really good! It's definitely a must buy for me now. I haven't seen any Naruto anime but the game is certainly making me interested in the franchise. Hopefully, Ubisoft will acquire the license to Bleach and make an RPG too!

Great job Ubisoft! You have one sale with this game with me.
