PGR3: 720p intro, and more gameplay

Here is the 720p version of the trailer from a few days ago presenting the cities of PGR3. It's also in fact the game's intro. For your ears' pleasure, enjoy the incredible sound of the car in this new york gameplay video. This one has to be watched with your 5.1 system at the maximum volume. And so your eyes also get some joy, a bit of London by night.
Update : Before going for some sleep, a bonus video. This is some Xbox Live gameplay, with a randomly generated track from the track editor. Chaos ensured :)

The night time driving looks drastically improved from the original PGR and PGR2. It seems like they made it much easier to see by lifting the ambient light levels while making the headlights brighter.
This is good, because the night time driving is the best looking feature of PGR3, imho.

Wow. With these direct feed videos, you can actually hear the wind rushing past the car as it gains speed. It may sound nitpicky, but that was one thing I really wanted to be in there to seal the deal... and it's there. I'm sold.

I have a klipsch 5.1 sound system for the pc, do I need anything special to enable 5.1 in video playback? Like some option in media player...? Or will it pick it up automatically?

anyone elese noticed that the clock on the short videos freezes every now and then, then jumps forward to the correct time. Is that a bug or something to do with the game play?

WOW. That is some next gen sound. And that london vid makes you feel like you are actually driving at night, with the interior all blacked out. Can't wait to run this baby on my 5.1.

Oh man and the New York one aswell, the high pitched whine just behind the roar of the engine and the harsh thumps as you hit deformities in the road.

I'd like to see how the reflections look on the cars at night. In the London vid, it doesn't look as impressive as the night reflections in the intro.
