dude, the online lobby is just a way to eat alot of **** while waiting for a battle, you can play mini games while you wait, or just watch the fight on the television

i guess that means this game would work with any USB keyboard right?

i guess it does have a little bit of a PSO feel. man i wish they had that for a launch title! i like the butterfly. also, why would there be a need to wait for your chance to fight? are there lines?

I think this works similarly to the lobby system in Ultimate which basically had room for 8 players to play against eachother in a tourney type thing. The ones playing would.. Play.. And the ones waiting for their turn could chat with eachother. This just gives you tons more to do while you wait.

I hope they retain voice chat in the lobbies, sicne keyboard chat alone would suck.

Itagaki has said it's only keyboard chat due to language difference. Maybe if we gamers insist enough, they would implement voice chat by Live update of some sorts. Still is nothing compared to Gotham TV though. :)

I'm not sure if we can plug in any USB keyboard, but from what I heard from an interview with Itagaki in one of those online publisher (I think it was 1up.com, "A week long snuggle with Team Ninja" or something), he said we can plug in a USB keyboard. However it hasn't been "officially" confirmed by Allard or Moore. But I don't think we'll be able to use it for gaming LOL. WASD!

Oh, i`m glad there is no voice chat.
Sorry but i hate that communicator.
In burnout revenge, i just cant turn that voices off. Never understanding what people are talking about...most of them kiddies.

yeah theres nothing i hate more than hearing little kids yelling like the complete idiots they are over live. i just hope most of the little kids wont have the 360 until after their mommies get it for them AFTER christmas.

Itagaki said only the Ninja lobby will be available upon release.
All others will need to be paid for through Live!

However, most of what I've seen look interesting enough that I might be willing to shed a few bucks.

microsoft is freakin cheap. why should we have to pay for things part of the game if were paying 59.99 for the game itself!? talk about greedy, insatiable, bums. they're xbox live service will be a scam. they're not even liable if you're card information, which you have to give to them by the way, somehow gets in the hands of strangers. i smell corruption. when we buy xboxlive, what are we paying for? why do we have to spend even more damn money? but its still surprising, because so many thick-headed people are out there willing to unwisely spend a ton of extra money.

So, it's official and the playable DOA/Halo character will be a female Master Chief (Spartan). Can't wait to see the design for that. The character will also be getting their own Halo themed stage.

Any guesses at what we'll most likely get? Whatever it is, it's bound to rock.
