Atari seems to finally be announcing the big gun manufacturers in Test Drive Unlimited, today presenting Audi and McLaren F1 in the game with these two trailers. It's a totally different feeling when you see the city Audi car rolling down on the streets, compared to the usual sport cars. Great stuff!

press left on the digital pad and you can switch driving aids . ... with Hypersport it steers like normal Racing Games

btw, the game is much smoother now :)

Neat, downloading this now. Thanks for the headsup.

If we get Just Cause today too--I'll be pleasantly suprised :)

Is anyone else having trouble steering the bike round corners?

Turn the drivers assist off by pressing left on the Dpad and down until you get to off.

But the bikes are weird in themselves. It doesn't feel like you turn enough when going into a full turn and you spring right back up to prone.

The cars feel fine, but the bikes need some tweeking it seems.

Big improvement over the E3 demo--still not totally convinced but god is it a hell of a lot more polished. This games concept is so great..I just hope they can execute it well. It certainly has improved..still far from perfect though.

Big improvement, where?

Ok, so the performance is upped a bit, added some (weird lookin') HDR, but man, I think they managed to make the vehicle handling even worse!
And what's up with the steering on that bike, that's just pathetic, really!

Uhm..this demo has multiple steering modes for the cars--though I haven't tried the bike out yet. And yea--the vehicle handling especially if you toy around with the different assists seem a bit more in line with what I'd expect from an "arcadey" racer..performance seems to be largely improved to me--overall the image quality remains about the same but there seems to be less graphical glitches and pop-in..so yeah, it's a little better!

I said it wasn't perfect! Trust me, it'll take a much bigger improvement to get my money--but they're obviously working on it--they've worked it up to atleast rental status.

The bike controls just fine with the driving aids off. You can't expect to go into every corner at full speed, although most people online seem to think they can!

I know about the multiple steering modes, but they don't "fix" the handling problems.

I guess they atleast listened to the feedback they got and tried to"fix" it, but I doubt they are even skilled enough to create some decent vehilce handling, I mean check it out, it's really bad.

But yeah, some performance issue's are partially fixed, and there is some improvement, but this game is not even worth the budget price the US are paying, nevermind what Europe is paying for it...

I couldn't have said it better.

And what's the point of people playing online when they lag like crap and warp 50 feet away from their original location.

Uh............NO.

The bikes handle like crap, they are 100000 times worst than the cars. The game is a joke.

On a positive note, the island is a monster.

Aside from the extremely crap bike handling (maybe I'm too used to Moto GPs arcadey handling?), I found the handling of the cars pretty good. I just hope that the developers realise that bikes should be able to go round long bends at aleast 50 mph without understeer.

On a brighter note doing doughnuts on the golf course is good fun as is exploring the hills on the atrocious bike.
