Trust me, if Halo 2 is any indication, then Halo 3 will look 5 times better than any next gen game we have seen yet. We'll have to wait for the annoucement trailer at E3.

It was a tremendous leap, for sure, but most graphically impressive? No, I certainly don't think so. In fact, by the time it actually came out, I was pretty underwhelmed by its graphics. Texture pop ups didn't help one bit either.
Riddick and Chaos Theory, like Critx mentioned, both munch Halo 2 up graphically, and Far Cry Instincts for instance basically beats Halo 2 at its own turf. Design wise you may disagree, but on a technical level, for damn sure.
In fact, Ubisoft are the ones to push Xbox the hardest in my opinion, which is rather weird, really. Conker is absolutely mind boggling, too, and Team Ninja's Ninja Gaiden may not come across as visually stunning but what goes on in that game is insane when you think about it.
