I downloaded this morning. It's cool racing game. I'm not in to this genre but this was fun. Maybe because of me, but AI driven cars are really good... challenging bastards :]

Lol, played the demo and i must say, its far more impressive than I previously imagined it to be, DIRT should seriously consider taking lots of notes from this one, I really like it.

Quite fun, especially with the FF wheel (what game isn't:). But it just feels like there's not alot to it. The only nice feature is the ground deformation. With games like DIRT offering damage, cockpit views, etc it dosent quite make it into that league of games.

sure its an arcade game that is designed with simplicity in mind, but like with marketplace arcade games, i feel this should be marketed differently to some of the more in depth games with obviously higher developement costs. this should retail for a lot less in my opinion.

I played it, and I have to admit I liked it.. It plays really well for a arcade racinggame, really gives that oldskool arcade vibe.. Not that I will buy it though, personally I'm more into racinggames like PGR and Forza.. But for the fans of arcadehal racers this looks like a good and fun game..

i loved it...
BUT...
i didnt race at all, i spent 20 mins doing handbreak skids in the mud and driving slowly over the bumps!! the car move over bumps!! its amazing i could do it forever!!!lol. and the dirt is amazing!!!

The track deformation is cool, but I'm pretty sure I've seen it before. I have to agree with Indigo, the closed circuits are a little too forgiving. Easy, easy demo, but I'm looking forward to trying the retail version. Probably a bargain bin title for me.

I must say, the highlight of the demo for me was..

"GAME OVER YEAAAAAH!!!"

I dunno if I thought the tracks made the game easy - the AI was plenty capable - but doing short laps is not what rally is to me. I know that style of rally racing was suitable for arcades, I'm just not sure it's what console rally fans will want these days. I think this game is going to have a tough time doing decent numbers.

Loved this game - well the demo anyway. Powersliding was great, graphics I thought were good. I found it difficult at first but got the hang of it the more I played and the deformation was not just cosmetic. I liked it.

hmmm, yes. lovely graphs but boring. where the hell was the damage?. i know i know its arcade, but so is Burnout and i like to see my car trashing it self in slow motion and lots of motion blur, not bumping at 200km/h (that's 125mph for you americans...) and blim, back on track. its lame and old...

And damn, this track near the beach with the Far Cry feel, i couldn't help thinking how could would it be a mmorpg in this setting, just felt like going through those palms with a party, doing i dunno, some quests or shit... sorry, OT :P

i didn’t like it much. it was relatively fun for a while, especially seeing the deformable terrain...but it crossed the line too far into arcade territory imo. it beyond that of even outrun and ridge racer. burnout is pretty much my limit for arcade racers. you feel like your connected to the track, drifting is nice and smooth....this however feels like your floating around and the slightest turn puts you into the most ludicrous drift i've ever seen. far too easy, far too basic. and far too arcadey for me.

looks nice tho.

I've found you have to really drive with the bumper cam for Sega Rally.
