2008-09-04 08:08:46 Team NINJA - Announces 3 new action games at TGS!

Anything from Team NINJA makes me excited as hell, especially when they are gonna make a action game.

With Itagaki gone...who knows what they plan to make.

I hope they make more games like Ninja Gaiden...but without ninja type of theme.
Anything with sword slashing, magic using 3rd person action game would be awesome.

Anyways, I am excited, and now that Itagaki isn't with them...they are probably gonna go multiplatform (PS3/360), unless MS or Sony publishes one of the titles (which I doubt it).

I think they could continue the relationship with Microsoft after NG2 exceeded 1M worldwide. With Itagaki or not, business is business and companies tend to continue successful ventures.

But anyway, Team Ninja just shipped 2 games this year and are announcing 3 games at TGS? That's batshit insane. One is NG2 "Black" probably.

They should leave NG universe now and start new IPs.
I have been a long fan of Team NINJA and NG...but enough is enough, and now with Itagaki gone...they could make new excellent new IPs.

I just want more 3rd person action games from them, because that is my favorite genre of all time and we need more of it.

Too many people make these, too many fail to make it "perfect"...with masters like Team NINJA, atleast we know us 3rd person action fans are safe.

Anyways...I am just excited for their announcement and reveals from these guys at TGS, so I am not gonna wish and hope things I want, rather just wait and see.

One of them should be Dead or Alive Code Cronus. Another one should be that project that has been rumoured for a long time "Project progressive" The third one I have no idea but rumours have been floating around about an all new action RPG.

Honestly, i can't say i'm that hyped, the only good game Team Ninja ever made imo was the first Gaiden on xbox, Gaiden 2 seems to be good but not as good as it's predecessor and DoA has always been shit if you ask me...which i know you don't but that doesn't make it any less true :D

So i guess, if Team Ninja made another action title i would most certainly try it, but i don't know...i'll burn that bridge when i come to it.

I could have sworn they said it was gonna be a action/RPG starring Kasumi and Ayane...that was years ago.

Anything action should be nice from Team NIINJA...even if its RPG in it, just as long as they make it real time in the combat department.

Wiki is wrong. Itagaki said it wouldn't be a fighting game, but it would be action-something. 1up asked if it was perhaps an action-rpg, and I forgot what Itagaki said, but it wasn't a direct yes or no.
