I can tell you guys one thing, this game must be selling pretty decent since my shipment of the game just got delayed due to others beating me to purchasing it.

I have said it before and I will say it again, this is one of the best tales in a while if not the best so far. Very good job from Tales team.
This year is the JRPG for the X360, with ToV, Infinite Undiscovery and the Last Remnant Microsoft system is the console to get if you love this kind of games without a doubt.

The Asian version will be coming out on Sept 4.

I've been reading some stuff about this game and from what I have read, it takes time to develop the skills of your characters. I don't mind that...afterall for me one of the plus points in any JRPG is its length.

Bah i'm about to cancel my damn order on Amazon. The delivery date was pushed back on me a second time and now I'm seeing on GAF that they're having hell with delivery as well.

I'm going to check my local best buy tomorrow. If I see it I'll just get it then cancel amazon order.

If you have NTSC/J systems why do you not get that version then :S It's cheaper than US version too and only comes 2 days later than US version.

US version is JP and Asian version aswell what????? Region Locked or free for the NTSC/J System ????? Please tell me that is free the US version for the japanese system .

Hang on ... so JP/Asia versions work on US console but dont on PAL. and the US version works on JP/Asia versions as well but not on PAL

Well it looks like. I guess that it must be due to the publishing rights for Europe wich must have been acquired by Atari just like Eternal Sonata was. So in europe we should expect translated text only.

Let's hope that the Australian/New Zealand PAL versions will come in early. There is still some hope tha the Asian version might work on the PAL version since distribution of some games sent to AU/NZ are centralized in Singapore, together with the rest of the Asian territories.

Amazon finally updated my copy of vesperia is coming tomorrow!

Going to finally start Too Human and put like 2 hours into it.

Gamepro gave Vesperia a 70.

This interesting installment in the Tales series is probably best suited to hardcore RPG nuts and fans who loved the previous titles.

CONS: Complex battle system is unnecessary since button mashing works so well; corny dialogue.

This has me WORRIED now .... so you can practically button mash your way through it ... hmmmmmmm

Alimo you can put all characters on AI and they can beat a Boss LOL, you just have to sit back and watch, as long as you have enough items for them to heal themselves resurrect etc.

I don't own the game, but I've already played it at friends and that button mash your way through thing is rubbish.

I honestly think it's not true because there are enemies that can be so problematic that if you aren't timing your swings properly or blocking and free running at the same time there is just no way you'll get away with button mashing. You may get away with it against less formidable enemies, but there are some that will force you to evolve your playstyle beyond mere button mashing and to not do so would be a total waste of an incredible combat system.

I would like to emphasize how this game diminishes button mashing.

Yuri has to put his sword in his sheath after attacks. This means there's a total delay between animations so you have to time your normal hits and artes well to do good combos. You can't just keep button mashing, you have to time your animations in key with the enemies so you don't get attacked in mid animation, learn when to block, and when to combo. That's my style at least.

Then there's the fact you often fight a lot of enemies at once if you go for encounter links.

Also with how unbelievably lazy that review was, I wouldn't take it serious. If I hadn't already lost my ability to edit my post I would've deleted it.

The AI did stomp that boss in demo it wasn't even funny lol. Thing was dazed every which way. Oh and Too Human is kick ass, I really don't know what crawled up some of the reviewer's butts but oh well :)

You mean like FF12 ??? I thought you do have to control your main character and you cna make him cast spells and the like no ??? Sorry, I've never played Tales games before and the demo to be honet was very limited .... so I dont exactly know

You control whatever character you wish to take control of and the rest will be ai controlled and you get to customize their behavior to a great deal.

Yes but you can choose who you want to control and who you want to be on AI, you can plug a second controller in and have another person play, you can have 4 controllers with 4 people if you like.

But I was just saying that in a battle you can just press start to toggle your character to AI and he will do the fighting, I have actually had an all AI party do better than me in a boss fight before :S

There was a boss I couldn't beat and I thought well lets give the AI a shot, I will just heal them with items when I see the need and they actually beat it, sad but true :P (I will say i wasn't satisfied with this, so I reloaded my old save and beat him again, would be cheating otherwise)

Tales isn't a button masher but it can be if you want it to be.
