Shane was initially pretty negative about it one moment to being immensely positive about it the moment IU was brought into the discussion and saying that everyone is better off buying tov and not bothering with IU.

First thing that came to my mind was "Yea Shane, wouldn't you love to see the Tri-Ace developed, Square Enix published title sell horribly on the 360 :P"

I've been getting into 1up lately though and I really think their 1up show and previews pretty much give you all the real meat in regards to what the games are like. They have TONS of really good exposure of most games leading up to a review and the review itself is usually just a final word and a score.

The main reason why I can't stand 1up is due to the fact that you always have those 1 or 2 people (mostly shane) that are throwing in their agenda into every little discussion.

Things are relatively clean on the 1up show, but the podcast... agendamania :)

Yeah I imagine that's their "thing" really. Like you say 1up show is pretty clean but you can tell they want the conflict and a bit of controversy in there. I don't really pay attention to it, I just think it's a brill way to show off games and for us to get some insight.

I just completely turned away from gamespot after EVERYONE I LIKED on there left. Matt is really growing on me.. if that's the guy with glasses and semi baldness. He lts off a pretty serious impression, much like Greg Kasavin used to.

Today is the US release date for Tales of Vasperia ..... Play Asia still hasnt out up if it's region free or not :(

Recently updated my shipment for Vesperia to a 2 day shipment.

Should be getting it and Too Human at the same time or might get Too Human a day before Vesperia. Hopefully the Premium Edition of Vesperia being #10 on Amazon.com is a good sign as to the sales.

Oh wow... Gameinformer is gay as hell. Did they seriously just drop a monster spoiler right in there massively short review!? I think they did. I would advise nobody interested in this game to read it unless you don't care about a potentially very big spoiler.

Huh what ya talking about ?, there is no spoiler there.

And Alimo to be fair anyone last gen who was a big JRPG fan would have had a chipped console or at least a US or JP model, so Namco bringing games to Europe wasn't such a bad thing.

I'm not saying its the right thing to do, but I'm sure someone will pick it up eventually, blame Microsoft for their shitty region lock ;)

There is a potential serious spoiler there. It involves the line about the possible girl posing as a princess. As the game was progressing we might have suspected as much, but now we have confirmation that there is indeed someone posing as a princess.

I consider that serious spoiler material not only because it reveals as much, but if it was important enough to get mention in the review like it was something of significance, it likely stands a real shot of screwing over part of the experience because I won't just see it coming, I'll have already had confirmation that it did, in fact, come.

Same reviewer that gave Eternal Sonata a very undeserved 8.5 so I don't really know if it's a case where he's finally reviewing a game properly or if he really does believe this game and ES are of the same calibur. Same reviewer that gave BD a 6. Doesn't Gamespot have anyone else willing to review a jrpg? :P

Optimus thats not a spoiler as such its basically in the first 10 mins of the game.

Damn on the not region free, Asian Version it is then, Alimo think you need to email Ubisoft and get them on the case :P

Yea I guess the Asian version could still be region free ..

I'm guessing the reason it not being region free is that Namco may have already made arrangements for it to come to Europe although not announced it yet. (this is why I like the PS3 :P, if only there were decent games for it)

I have been off for a while. So US version is not region free, but does it work with NTSC/J systems or is it region locked totally and only works with NTSC/U systems?
Does the US version finally include the japanese dialogues?? I hope so.
