2008-09-07 00:58:31 I doubt it'll be as good as Megaman 1-3, so yeah, prolly more like 6.5. 1.5 would be amazing though so let's keep fingers crossed. :) |

2008-09-08 17:42:12 I think all the games have manuals and some have wallpapers, avatar and even soundtracks. Pretty damn cool I think. --- |

2008-09-19 21:57:34 GoG is great, i bought Fallout 2 even though i already own it, (to get better XP compatibility) and it works like a charm ^^ --- |

2008-09-19 22:48:27 Yeah I would love to see more older games. Dungeon Keepers would be great, as would be Master of Orion 1&2, Blood, NOLF's, Homeworld's... --- |

2008-09-22 18:46:38 Well it is very easy to go about pirating DRM free sofware, but then again, even if your game comes with starforce or whatever some group is still going to crack it within a day or two from release. Now that i've bought Fallout 2 from GOG i wouldn't copy it to my friends, they can fork out the measly sum of six dollars to play it, i mean whats six freaking dollars? If a superb game like Fallout isn't worth six bucks then you don't get to play, it's that simple. Not implying that piracy is ever a good choice ofc. --- |

2008-09-24 22:24:32 You only got the free game if you signed up between two specific dates and those are past now, so no free game for you. --- |

http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/294/Jazz+Jackrab... That's probably their best old school game anyway. Btw I noticed that MDK2 is on that GOG site. I was just posting in another forum that this game has severe z-fighting issues on newer Nvidia cards and there's no way around it. I mean, it's pretty bad, so don't bother with it unless you have an ATi card with drivers that allow a 16 bit buffer (I don't think there are any that don't). I installed my copy a few months ago and about cried when I saw it on my newer rig. Very sad. Maybe I'll try to find some relatively retro hardware so I can build a new machine for older 3d games. |

2008-11-19 14:43:29 I know that OMF:2097 and some Tyrian game was released for free. Both published by Epic I think. So yeah maybe there isn't really anything to release on GOG then when you really think about it. --- |

2008-11-19 14:50:39 Yeah, Tyrian/Tyrian2000 is a freebie now. |

2008-11-19 15:00:37 Plumb: i though all gog games were fixed to run on new hardware? That isn't the case with MDK2? Man i was thinking of buying it :P --- |

2008-11-19 15:02:55 No they are fixed to run on newer operating systems, if needed (and stripped of any DRM). |
